Tencent will increase Kadokawa inventory holding


Chinese language tech and leisure big Tencent has acquired extra shares in Kadokawa. 

Nikkei stories that the corporate snapped up 1.11 per cent extra inventory within the Japanese media agency, bringing it complete holding as much as 7.97 per cent. Tencent has mentioned that that that is “a part of a capital and enterprise alliance between the submitter and the issuer.” The deal was carried out by Tencent’s SixJoy Hong Kong Restricted.

This follows Sony growing its personal holding in Kadokawa amid rumours that the corporate was trying to purchase the media agency. In the long run the PlayStation big snapped up some shares to carry its complete holding as much as 10 per cent. In doing so, Sony grew to become Kadokawa’s largest shareholder.
