This ground-up remake of the beloved Famicom/NES JRPG has been a very long time coming, first introduced in 2021. With up to date graphics, mechanics, storyline, and scope, this second coming of DQIII (or given prior remakes, third coming? Perhaps fourth? No, fifth!) may be the right jumping-on level for folk within the iconic, long-running sequence!
Then, Caitlin joins us to debate probably the most sudden spin-offs in years: LEGO Horizon Adventures. Primarily a lighthearted remake of the primary sport within the Horizon sequence, Horizon Zero Daybreak, LEGO Horizon takes all the things we love about this stunning post-apocalyptic world and interprets it into LEGO. Meaning gorgeous LEGO recreations of many machine beasts, together with Watchers, Thunderjaws, and Tallnecks! Does this LEGO spin-off seize what makes the Horizon sequence so particular?
