Midnight Society, the studio behind the NFT shooter Deadrop, laid off an unspecified variety of workers final week.
Phrase of the layoffs appeared on social media over the weekend, with senior atmosphere artist Tyler Moore saying he was “certainly one of many” affected. The studio later confirmed the “important workforce discount” to PCGamer.
In its assertion, Midnight Society attributed the layoffs to “a number of sudden challenges” in current months. It additional said the cuts have been made to “strengthen our basis and renew concentrate on our core mission.”
